The learner will not only become familiar with the specialty trailers themselves but will also learn how their unique designs enable truckers to carry a variety of different materials most effectively.
Terms and Definitions: Part I
This industry, like any other, has its own unique terms and equipment. The faster a broker can learn this terminology the quicker they will be able to talk with shippers and carriers in a more knowledgeable and professional manner. This course is an introduction to some of the most commonly used terms in the industry.
Terms and Definitions: Part II
This course picks right up where Terms and Definitions 1 left off. The learner will continue to be exposed to useful terminology and pieces of equipment essential to know in the brokerage industry.

It is very important that a broker understand the different types of carriers that are operating in the shipping industry. This will greatly impact his/her ability to be efficient and effective in matching the right carrier with the right load. This course will introduce the variety of carriers there are as well as the different types of drivers that work in the industry.
